Hosting is a cloud storage space that works with the help of an electronic hardware (SSD Hard disk) and software. If its hard disk fails beyond repair, there is a chance that your website data will be lost.
So after completing the website creation, it would be good for you to take a local backup and keep it. Please note that Hostkerala will not be held responsible if your website data is compromised in any way.
Log in to cpanel and go to the backup section and then download the home file database file and save it to your computer.
If your website data gets lost in the future you can restore your website using the local backup you have on hand.
Physical Backup is a service of Hostkerala that can be purchased as an addon at the time of your hosting purchase. It costs only 199 rupees for one year. You only need to purchase this addon if you need it.
By purchasing this Physical Backup addon, your website data will be stored in our external hard disk once within the 7th day from the day you purchased the hosting. If you need this backup, notify us through a support ticket and you will receive a link to download your backup.
